Motion City Soundtrack - Commit this to Memory
By: Nicole Brick

|
Motion City Soundtrack’s new CD is close to Justin Pierre’s personal life, but it really is the story of five band mates finding out who they are and learning about their lives. This is Motion City Soundtrack’s third album, and their fans think it has been the best. This album is ubiquitous, the songs range from up-beat love songs, to slow songs about holding back and trying to solve problems.

The Tossers - The Valley of the Shadow of Death
By: Chris Husbands |
Genre: Irish Punk/ Celtic Punk
The Tossers keep up with their tradition of blending the traditional music of their Celtic ancestors, while adding a new-age twist.
The Tossers have a truly unique sound. They incorporate a mandolin, an accordion, a tin whistle, a banjo, and a fiddle into their music. All of which are not usually associated with punk rock.
These Chicago natives create a nice blend between Irish folk and punk rock. The band began in the early 1990's and ever since have been modifying and projecting their new sound.
