To provide everyone with a clearer view of the volunteer role, for information that identifies the responsibilities and rights of the volunteers to the Youth Advisory Group. As a Volunteer, you will have the following:

The Responsibility... The Right...
1 to accept only as much responsibility as can be handled. to be assigned a job that is fun and challenging, with freedom to use skills and to develop new ones.
2 to respect confidences of teens looking for help. to be trusted with information that will help you help others.
3 to be considerate and to work as a team. to be treated with respect.
4 to fulfill one's commitment. to be provided training and supervision for the job.
5 to use time wisely and not interfere with performance of others. to expect that your time will not be wasted by lack of planning, coordination and cooperation.
6 to continue as long as one is effective. to have a chance to increase understanding of yourself and other and the community.
7 to provide suggestions and recommendations if these will improve the program. to be given recognition for day-to-day contributions.
